Valencia's Best Brunch & Coffee Spots

Whether you're settling into life in Valencia or just looking for your next favourite weekend haunt, we've done the delicious research so you don't have to. From specialty coffee roasters to full-on brunch feasts, here are our top picks for the best brunch and coffee spots in the city.

EAST CREMA
C/ Sorní 19 | C/ Almirante Cadarso 21 | C/ Roger de Llòria 8 | @eastcrema

Good news for all the matcha and coffee lovers out there — East Crema has opened a gorgeous new location right near the city centre and the Turia gardens! We love that they take their craft seriously, paying close attention to sustainable practices and the roasting process (because great coffee really does start there). We tried the matcha latte and it was absolutely spot on — strong, smooth, and the perfect consistency. A brilliant spot to take a proper break from your day.

FAV COFFEE
C/ Cronista Carreres 1 | @favcoffee.vlc

Widely considered one of the best specialty coffee shops in Valencia, and honestly? We'd have to agree. FAV has that lovely combination of friendly staff, a modern-yet-relaxed atmosphere, and a menu that caters to everyone — including great vegan options. It's only a 10-minute walk from the Ayuntamiento and a short stroll from Turia park, so it's perfectly placed for a mid-explore pitstop. Not a coffee drinker? Get the matcha latte and a pistachio croissant. You're welcome.

BASTARD COFFEE & KITCHEN
Carrer Leandro de Saralegui 1 | C/ Martínez Ferrando 4 | Av. del Regne de València 2 | @bastardcoffeeandkitchen

Don't let the name fool you — this place is pure comfort. We are absolutely obsessed and can't wait to go back. The brunch menu runs Monday to Sunday from 9am to 6pm, and at just €12.50 for a main, hot drink, fresh orange juice AND dessert, it's genuinely incredible value. We went for the Eggs Benedict with avocado and rosemary fries (those fries — wow), a chai latte, and a Nutella cheesecake. It tasted every bit as good as it sounds. Trust us on this one.

BRUNCH CORNER
C/ Conde de Almodovar 1 | @brunch_corner

An Encantada firm favourite, and for very good reason! Brunch Corner has built up a well-deserved reputation as one of the most popular brunch spots in Valencia. The menu is seriously impressive — think Belgian waffle benedict, meatball subs, and even a full English breakfast for any expats craving a taste of home. If you're after something lighter, there are bagels, toasts, croissants, and all your breakfast classics too. We went for the breakfast burrito with a side of pancakes and fresh fruit, and it was absolutely divine. A guaranteed crowd-pleaser.

LA PETITE BRIOCHE
Carrer de Sorní 28 | @lapetitebrioche

Looking for a proper fin de semana treat? Head straight here. Tucked away on what might just be the cutest corner in Valencia, La Petite Brioche gives you all the Parisian café vibes without the flight. We shared the Nutella & banana crepe and the vegan pancakes, and both were just as dreamy as they look on Instagram. Perfect for a slow, indulgent weekend morning.

FEDERAL COFFEE
C/ Embajador Vich 15 | @thefederalcafe

Federal Coffee is nothing short of a Valencia institution. Right in the heart of the city, just a short stroll from the Ayuntamiento, this is the kind of place that has earned its reputation over time and absolutely deserves it. The brunch menu is extensive — sweet, savoury, light or hearty, they've got you covered. We're firm believers that Eggs Benedict is the ultimate breakfast dish, and Federal's version did not disappoint. Add in the Morning Burger and you have the perfect Saturday sorted.

BLUEBELL COFFEE ROASTERS
C/ de Buenos Aires 3 | @bluebellcoffeeco

One of our personal favourites, and once you visit you'll understand why. Tucked into the heart of Ruzafa, Bluebell is that rare find — a cosy, characterful neighbourhood spot that home-roasts its own beans. The result? Coffee that tastes genuinely fresh and full of flavour. The brunch menu is equally impressive, and we ordered the pulled pork waffles and pancakes which were, as they say here, increíble. The kind of place you pop in for a coffee and end up staying for brunch.

LA MÁS BONITA
C/ de Cadis 61 | C/ Comte de Salvatierra 19 | Passeig Marítim de la Patacona 11 | @lamasbonitavlc

When we need a lighter, energising start to the day, La Más Bonita is our go-to. We love the location next to the Mercado Colón, and the Patacona beach spot is perfect for a sunny morning. Fresh healthy juices, gorgeous cakes, and pastries galore — served at the cutest little terrace out the back. The ideal way to ease into the weekend.

TOSTARTE
C/ Matias Perelló 15 | @tostarte_specialtycoffee

Valencia's food scene just keeps getting better, and Tostarte is a great example of why. Specialty coffee, freshly made pastries, and a relaxed atmosphere that's perfect for a slow morning or a quiet read. We recommend the salmon wholegrain toast with veggies — simple, fresh, and really satisfying. Outdoor seating and a genuinely pleasant vibe make this one easy to love.

IKORE KOFI
Plaça del Baró de Cortés 24, Mercado de Ruzafa | @ikorekofi

A hidden gem inside the Mercado de Ruzafa for all the coffee and matcha devotees! Ikore Kofi roasts their own beans in-house, focusing on South American and African blends with beautiful notes of caramel and complex aromas. What makes them extra special is their mission — they actively support the farming families behind the beans by helping export their local produce. Great coffee with a great story behind it.

FOUR COFFEE & BISTRO
C/ d'Espadà 31 | @4.coffeebistro

Four Coffee & Bistro is all about quality — from the carefully sourced beans to the daily-baked pastries and bagels. The team prides themselves on excellent customer service, and you really do feel it the moment you walk in. Their iced cold brew and lattes are a dream, and the rotating pastry selection means there's always a reason to go back.

NUEZ CAFÉ
C/ del Convento de San Francisco 6 | @nuezcafe

Just a few blocks from the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, Nuez Café is a wonderfully cosy spot for both coffee and breakfast. Their sweet and savoury options are great, but the real standout is the avocado toast — honestly one of the best in the city. A little neighbourhood treasure.

DULCE DE LECHE
C/ Jesús 71 | C/ Sant Vicent Màrtir 52 | C/ Pintor Gisbert 2 | Av. de França 8 | @ddlboutique_

With five decades of creative baking behind them, Dulce de Leche is a Valencia institution. The chef and owner brings a beautiful mix of cultural influences to every recipe, using the finest quality ingredients and a whole lot of passion. Pop into any of their locations around the city for sweet and savoury treats that feel genuinely homemade and special.

HOJA LÁ
C/ Denia 6 | @hojala.cafefloristeria

A brunch spot AND a flower shop — because why not? Nestled in the heart of Ruzafa, Hoja Lá is open every day except Tuesdays, and the ambiance is absolutely lovely. Think serene, unhurried, and beautifully decorated — ideal for a long catch-up with friends over New York-style bagels or a wholesome quinoa bowl. A real gem of a find.
